Ed spent 25 years starting, growing, and selling companies — and has invested the decades since in coaching and consulting with other business owners and CEOs. He works through a framework that integrates real entrepreneurial experience with personal faith, because he believes both are essential to building a great company and a great life. A longtime church elder, Bible study leader, and 50-year man of faith, Ed brings the whole person to every coaching conversation.

Simple & stress-free

How We Work

  1. 1

    Quick Start: Information Gathering

Before your first coaching session, Ed asks you to complete and submit selected information about yourself and the organization you lead. Across decades of entrepreneurial and consulting work, Ed has found that the success of any engagement is closely tied to the work done early. This step ensures your first session starts with context and moves straight into what matters most.

  2. 2

    The Coaching Conversation Begins

Together, you and Ed review the information you have provided and agree on the initial areas of focus. Where location permits, the majority of sessions are held in person on the Front Range. Throughout your coaching engagement, you have reasonable phone access to Ed between sessions — so the support is there when you actually need it, not just when the next meeting is scheduled.

Frequently Asked Questions

Who does Ed work with?

Ed works exclusively with Christian business owners and CEOs. His coaching and consulting are built around the conviction that faith and business leadership belong together — and that the loneliness, uncertainty, and spiritual weight of ownership deserve a coach who has personally lived them.

What is Flywheel Forum?

Flywheel Forum is Ed's peer advisory group for Christian business owners and CEOs in Denver. It is a small, confidential group that combines executive leadership development, individual coaching, and genuine peer friendship inside a Christian framework. Members often come in navigating high growth, culture challenges, personnel issues, or the tension between faith and daily business pressures.

What does the coaching process look like?

Ed starts with a Quick Start phase — you provide information about yourself and your business before the first session so the conversation begins with real context. Sessions are primarily in person on the Front Range. Between sessions, you have phone access to Ed, so you are not waiting for the next scheduled meeting when something important comes up.

What kinds of consulting assignments has Ed taken on?

Ed has consulted on corporate turnarounds, rapid growth transitions, organization development, strategic planning, KPI development, core values discovery and implementation, partner dispute mediation, and business sale preparation and negotiation across many different industries and company sizes over several decades.

Does Ed have experience running his own businesses?

Yes. Ed spent 25 years starting, growing, and selling multiple companies — including transactions with inside employees, a national competitor, and a Fortune 100 firm. He coaches from the inside, not the sidelines.

How do I get started?

Reach Ed directly at 303-378-1078 or ed@wekesser.com. He will walk you through the Quick Start process and determine whether coaching, consulting, or Flywheel Forum is the right fit for where you are right now.
